Set amongst these are doves in love, dancing beetles and blankets of flowers in restful pinks, sunshine yellows and summery blues, shot through with deep teals and dashes of olive. Tilda's Pie in the Sky Collection are 100% cotton prints designed by Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger. Pie in the Sky is a fresh array of fabrics for spring and summer, with doodle-like flowers giving the designs a naive and effortless feel. The sweet motives and colors have a vintage look. Fun fabric names like Willy Nilly, Whimsybird and Topsy Turvy and Cloudpie invite you to induldge in a happy, creative sewing escape.
Artisan Cotton by Another Point of View is a cross-dyed "quilter's weight" cotton that acts as a solid but has more depth. Good saturated colours work as strong neutrals or on their own as garment fabrics. It's yarn dyed, so the colours in the name reflect the colours of the warp and weft fibres, giving the fabric a chambray effect - it's pretty awesome.
Jen Kingwell's collection with Moda Fabrics will give texture and interest to any project, as always there’s spots and stripes, dots and squares, and pretty little ditsy florals. The colours in this range are bright, there’s hot pinks and jewel like cyans that sit beautifully alongside gentle pinks and cool blues.
