Meadowfolk is a modern, block-based pattern that is appropriate for quilters of all skill levels. The Meadowfolk quilt design is inspired by my daughter Maris - our collector of all things and affectionately known as "Mare-Bear" - hence the basket-bear paw fusion. The pattern is written so that you can use 1/2 yard cuts, fat quarters or scraps. The mix and match style will give you a fun, scrappy effect no matter which fabric type you choose. Meadowfolk can be made in three sizes: Crib (47" x 47"), Throw (72" x 72"), and Bed (97" x 97")
Mini quilts are so much fun to make and a great way to challenge and grow your quilting skills! This booklet is 18 color pages, and includes 8 mini quilt patterns, photos, and tips. The sizes of each mini can be found on the bottom of the back cover (second photo). Difficulty ranges from beginner to intermediate because of the small pieces. sizes: Ziggy Baby (14″ x 16″), Pow Wow (13.75″ x 17.75″), Shortcake (13″ x 16.25″), Button Up (13.5″ x 17.75″), Spin Cycle (15.5″ x 15.5″), Suburbs (12″ x 14″), SEW (7″ x 15.5″), and Playful (12″ x 15″).
The Modern Madras Reversible Table Runner is a simple study in ombres. This is a beginner project because you limit your choice to just three or four fabrics per side. It's very manageable and has fantastic results. All your friends and family will want you to make one for them! Kit available separately.
