This is one of my all time favorite quilt blocks, and with no templates, Y seams, or tricky piecing, it's actually simple to make! This pattern is fat quarter friendly (using fat quarters/more prints is recommended for easier layout), and comes with 5 sizes. If you want to make it scrappy, the full color pattern also shows you what you'll need to make just one block. This is a different, smaller block version of my Wallflowers pattern. 5 sizes: Baby (42″ x 42″), Throw (56″ x 70″), Twin (70″ x 84″), Queen (98″ x 98″), and King (112" x 98").
Shortcake is a super simple pattern made for beginners. It can use a jelly roll, yardage, or scrap strips from your favorite fabrics. The pattern comes with the option of making a throw, twin, or queen/king sized quilt. 3 sizes: Throw (56″ x 64″), Twin (64″ x 88″), and Queen (88″ x 96″).
